This fun and challenging puzzle is based on Giovanni Antonio Canal (commonly known as Canaletto, an Italian painter from the Republic of Venice) 1740 oil on canvas painting "The Grand Canal in Venice from Palazzo Flangini to Campo San Marcuola". Canaletto made at least three versions of this view of the Grand Canal. He recorded every detail of every building along the canal, every window, door, and chimney and other architectural details.
