In the center of the painting we can see three people going about their day while trying to escape the bad weather. On the left a woman wearing a red dress and caring a basket is returning home from the market, in the center another woman with an umbrella is trying to get to her destination while going against the wind and finally a man caring a white sack is slowly making his way home. The entire background is taken up by a brown brick wall.

The scene depicted in today's puzzle is probably located on one of the pasturelands of the Pyrenees where Rosa Bonheur, the author of the painting that this puzzles is based on, took a trip there in 1850. The painting depicts some calves separated from their mother in an improvised pen. If you didn't know, weaning is the process of gradually introducing an young animal or human to what will be its adult diet while withdrawing the supply of its mother's milk. The process takes place only in mammals, the only as they are the only animals that produce milk.

Today's puzzle is based on the 1888 painting with the same name. Also known as Entrance Gate to a Farm with Haystacks, Farmhouse in Provence is an oil-on-canvas by Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. At the time that Van Gogh made this beautiful painting, he was 35 years old and living in Arles, in southern France. During this period he produced some of his best work, such as fields, farmhouses and people of the Arles and Avignon area. As you might of already noticed, Van Gogh used several pairs of complementary colors in the Farmhouse in Provence, the color contrast bringing an intensity to his work.

Today's beautiful puzzle is based on an oil on canvas painting by Jan van Ravenswaay - a 19th-century landscape painter from the Northern Netherlands. The painting depicts animals grazing and resting on a grassy meadow. You can see a couple of horses in one corner, a young shepherd boy resting with his goats and cows in the foreground and event some cute ducks swimming in a small pond in the bottom right corner.
